California Network of Learning Professionals (CNLP) FAQs

Is there a State Training Center? No, it closed in January 2005 due to lack of revenues. California Department Training Officers who met on a quarterly basis over 20 years started the DTO Advisory Board in 2000 and created the CNLP in 2005.

Who is the CNLP Advocate? Mary Fernandez Administrative Chief of the State Personnel Board. Our advocate assisted CNLP in getting the online Forum.

What is the purpose of the Forum? Knowledge base for shared resources to California Department training professionals.

HOW DO I USE THE FORUM? How to use the forum?
Step 1: Register to the Forum
Access restricted to State of CA employees; Use a State email to register
Step 2: Reply to the email that is sent to you upon registration to activate access to the CNLP Forum.
Step 3: Login (Every time - or use auto logon)
Step 4: View one of many "Forum Choices"
To View all Forums click on the "California Network of Learning Professionals Forum" in the top line
Select the Forum in which you're interested.
Click on an existing post to view the post.
Select "Reply to Post" to comment about an existing post, then "Update Post" when you have completed your message
